Registered MBACP Psychotherapist/Counsellor

About me

Are you looking to make a positive change in your life? Are you wondering how to achieve this? Seeking a therapist with whom you are at ease, will be the first positive step towards making this change.

With this in mind I am able to offer an initial consultation for a reduced fee (see details below) I see this as an opportunity for us to meet and ask any questions we each may have, this then helps with the decision of possibly moving forward into therapy.

I am more than happy to work with you as an individual or as a couple for relationship therapy.

With the ever changing demands and increasing needs of our current climate, I am able to provide Online or Telephone Therapy.
Therefore, if you have a busy schedule or are in a Different Time zone, a consultation online or over the telephone allows you flexibility and effective use of your time without having to commute.

What I am able to offer to you is a confidential, safe space where you are able to explore your important issues, in your own way and at your own pace. Whatever the personal challenge you are facing, I will be here to listen to you.

A small selection of the concerns, which I have worked successfully with:-

Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Isolation, Sadness, Panic Disorder

Sexual, Physical and Emotional Abuse.

Love, Relationship, Affairs, Betrayal and Sexuality.

My aim, as a therapist, is to walk alongside you, as you develop your self-awareness and reconnect with your belief in yourself, discovering new positive ways of being ‘you’ and making choices in your life, which you are happy and comfortable with.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
