About me
I’m a qualified and BACP-accredited online and telephone trained therapist. I’ve been supporting clients from all backgrounds since 2013. I offer a warm, down-to-earth, and approachable space where you can feel truly heard and supported, especially if you’re struggling to open up or finding it hard to put your feelings into words.
Clients often tell me they find it easy to talk to me. I aim to build a relationship that feels safe and respectful, without unnecessary distance or formality, while always working ethically and professionally. My role is to hold space for whatever you’re going through, even the most difficult or painful experiences, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
I work with people facing a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, past trauma, or simply a sense of being stuck or overwhelmed. You might have a clear goal in mind, or you may just know that something doesn’t feel right. Either way, we’ll explore things together and see what emerges.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from several therapeutic models to tailor the work to your individual needs. Depending on what feels most helpful, we might explore patterns in your life, process emotions, look at your relationships, or focus on practical steps toward change. Sometimes it’s about understanding yourself better; sometimes it’s about finding relief and clarity in the present.
A key part of therapy with me is the relationship we build. I place great importance on understanding your context, your upbringing, values, strengths, and challenges, so that therapy is not just about "talking," but about being truly understood.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of East London, as well as the CPCAB Diploma in Counselling. Additionally, I have completed the NICE-approved Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression specialisation, awarded by Metanoia Institute and accredited by the BACP.
I am a fully accredited member of the BACP and committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains current and effective.
Since 2013, I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including the NHS, charity organisations, and private practice. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people from many different walks of life, each bringing their own story and challenges.
I follow the BACP Ethical Framework, which means I’m committed to offering a respectful, non-judgmental, and professional service at all times.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Before your first session, I’ll send you a short, optional questionnaire to get a sense of what’s going on for you. You’re welcome to return it in advance, but if you’d prefer, we can simply talk through everything in the first session. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of it, and how you’d like to work, whether short-term or longer-term.
