About me
I'm a Clinical Psychologist working with adults aged 16 and over who feel stuck, worn down, or quietly not okay. Whether that's anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, trauma, burnout, or something harder to name.
Most people get to therapy after sitting with something difficult for a while. There's no right time, and you don't need to have it all worked out before we speak. Things can and do get better, even when they've felt stuck for a long time.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I’m trained in several different types of therapy, not just one, which means the therapy shapes itself around you, not the other way round. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and systemic thinking - looking at the relationships and wider patterns in your life, not just what’s going on inside.
I know how much courage it can take to bring something into therapy, and my aim is for you to feel genuinely understood, so together we can work out what's going on and start to move through it.
Sessions are honest and unhurried, led by what’s right for you. Some people come for a shorter, focused piece of work, while others need more time. I’ll always be upfront about how things are going and about when it feels right to end.
If you’re thinking about reaching out, however unsure you might feel about it, I’d love to hear from you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southampton, qualifying in 2024. I’ve worked in NHS, charity and research settings since 2018, and I continue to work as a Clinical Psychologist in an NHS specialist palliative care & bereavement service alongside this practice.
