About me
"The principle aim of psychotherapy is not to transport one to an impossible state of happiness, but to help (the client) acquire steadfastness and patience in the face of suffering." - C.G. Jung.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and it's no surprise that many clients I've seen have expressed hope for a solution or quick fix to their problems. Though understandable, the unpredictability of life means that challenges are inevitable, and although I can't promise a quick fix, I can offer you the opportunity to unpack and explore these difficulties and help to better equip you to manage these challenges.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and relational - this means that I draw from various schools of thought and work in a way that is both flexible and client-led, enabling me to tailor my practice to suit your unique needs.
No two relationships are the same and whether it's with ourselves or with others, we are always in some form of relationship. The foundation of my work lies in understanding the impact of relationships in your life and using our therapeutic relationship to collaboratively explore what difficulties you may be struggling with.
Training, qualifications & experience
- MSc Therapeutic Counselling

- Foundation Certificate in Psychology
In addition to my formal training and qualifications I also undertake continued professional development (CPD).
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Practice description
I offer one-to-one, 50-minute sessions of brief/time-limited, or open-ended therapy to adults. I have worked with people from various backgrounds and life experiences, and carry a personal awareness of how our differences may impact our experience, perspective of the world, and relationships. In therapy, I attempt to gain an understanding of the world from the client's perspective and create a space in which an individual feels able to explore whatever may be troubling them.
I am a qualified integrative therapist and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work in accordance with their ethical framework.
