About me
Welcome, I'm Adielia
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or struggling to cope with life's challenges? You don't have to face things alone.
As a qualified counsellor and registered member of the BACP, I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and be heard. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, bereavement, low self-esteem, stress, or simply feeling lost, I am here to support you.
I offer person-centred counselling tailored to your individual needs, recognising that every person's experience is unique. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
I work with adult individuals, including those who are neurodiverse, and offer counselling sessions face-to-face, online, and by telephone, giving you the flexibility to access support in a way that suits your lifestyle.
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, but reaching out for support is a positive investment in your wellbeing. If you are considering counselling and would like to learn more about how I can help, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Person-centred counselling is all about you. It's based on the belief that you're the expert on your own life and have the inner resources to grow and heal. my role is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely. Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer flexibility in how we connect, Face-to-face sessions provide a personal touch, including online video sessions and telephone counselling. Online sessions allow you to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own space, which many find less intimidating than face-to-face meetings. Telephone counselling offers an extra layer of anonymity that some clients find freeing, allowing them to open up more easily. Both methods provide the convenience of fitting therapy into your busy life without the need to travel. Rest assured, I use secure platforms to ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
