About me

With several years of experience as a clinical psychologist, I’m passionate about helping people from all walks of life navigate their unique challenges and rediscover their sense of wellbeing.

I have experience working with people who've experienced depression, trauma/PTSD, attachment difficulties, anxiety, OCD, phobia's, panic, low self-esteem and challenging behaviour.

I currently work in an Autism and ADHD assessment service where I am the lead for attachment and trauma. Previously, I have supported individuals in adjusting to living with chronic health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, epilepsy, psychogenic seizures, brain injury).

Training, qualifications & experience

My doctoral background allows me to tailor my approach to suit individuals of all ages. I integrate elements from several key therapies - including CBT, ACT, CFT, and EMDR - to ensure that the support I provide is uniquely suited to your specific needs and goals.

I believe the best therapeutic work happens when we work as a team. I bring my psychological expertise to the table, while valuing your unique perspective on your own journey. In our sessions, you’ll find a kind, welcoming space where we can focus on your wellbeing and personal growth.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
