BACP (Accred) - Relationship Anxiety Psychotherapy Sessions

About me

You don’t think you’re good at relationships. Your past partners have hurt you, taken you for granted and crossed your boundaries.

You didn’t grow up with a great relationship model; in fact what you witnessed between your parents was toxic.

You’re lonely, but you don’t want to admit this, so you do things to please people, especially the new people you date, so they will want a serious relationship with you.  You lose yourself to get love, but it doesn’t work. You want to change, have tried things, but the same things keeping on happening.

Relationship psychotherapy with me  is intensive therapy. You are given a safe place and time to discuss the sadness and pain you feel about your relationships, identify the core of your pain and how to heal this, so you can feel connected to yourself, grounded and attract people who are aligned to your values, respect your boundaries, and like you for who you really are.

If you have been hurt, traumatised or wounded as a child, and the aforementioned has not been healed, there is a great possibility this will affect how you do relationships from childhood to adult hood.

Hence, in the therapy with me we will also work with your inner-child, and how understanding the impact of your past relates to your present relationship.  Your inner-child holds the key to having a healthy relationship with yourself and others.  It is who you truly are, the real you that is energetic, alive, creative and fulfilled. It will also guide you on how to nurture and protect yourself as a healthy adult which is vital in friendships and love relationships.

Who Am I?

For over 20-years, I have been offering psychotherapy to men and women around the world.  I am an Accredited by the BACP,  and qualified in many counselling models.

I am relationship psychotherapist, who supports individuals, couples and mother’s and daughters to understand the unconscious dynamics in their relationships, which may be rooted in the past and causing sabotage in the present.

I have won awards for my psychotherapy practices and for over  15-years, I set up and managed counselling services for charities in London and supervised the clinical work of counsellors.

I now work exclusively in my own practice and along with specialising in relationships,  I am also a specialist in inner-child therapy.

Inner-child therapy supports you to heal the trauma, sadness and pain of your childhood, so you can become a healthy adult, who knows how to live a happy, boundaried, fulfilling life, full of genuine love, nurturing, support and authenticity.

Your investment:

Relationship psychotherapy £170 per 60 minute session.

Relationship psychotherapy including inner-child work £200 per 60 minute session.

If you would like to talk to me about how I can help you to have healthy relationships, I am happy to hear from you, so feel free to email me.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
