About me

Counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples and  groups. Supervision; one to one or group.

Experiencing difficult times, whether through, stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, abuse, anger, eating issues, addictions, illness, or loss or you may be unsure what is troubling you. In our lives, these times can be distressing and it is common to feel alone, hopeless and confused, affecting all areas of your life.

Entering into therapy, either short or longer term can help you to understand and overcome these feelings freeing up your internal resources, enabling you to lead a more fulfilling and happier life.
I have many years experience working with individuals, couples and groups, from many different backgrounds, and respect each person as an individual, so take that first step and contact me to discuss your needs now.

I work from a comfortable, non-clinical setting with parking on site and accessible by bus or train. I can offer appointments, to couples or individuals in my Brigg practice and I also have some spaces for trainee counsellors and supervisees.

I work either face to face or via ZOOM with clients and supervisees.

The best investment you will ever make in your staff

Personal issues can have a major impact on your employee’s work, which can result in sickness or lack of concentration. This adds up to a cost to your business, not just in working hours lost, also in loss of productivity or engagement.

As an employer, you will equally benefit, as your time will be freed up from dealing with these issues.

Therapy Works 4 U Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), is a cost effective, affordable means of providing support for your staff who may be experiencing problems in or outside of the workplace.

Now your employees can access confidential counselling face to face or via SKYPE taking only one hour a week of their (and your) time.

You only pay for sessions booked and for loyal customers, I am pleased to offer a discounted rate.

Unlike many employee assistance providers, I see counselling not as a ‘tick box’ exercise, instead a really valuable, positive and lasting experience.

As a qualified and experienced counsellor and therapist, I have a real understanding of people’s needs, also having experienced both roles – employer and employee.

EAP’s are not just for people in crisis, but a valuable resource to help employees with the everyday problems that we all face in life.

Your EAP can help with:

v Conflicts at home or at work

v Carer’s issues

v Family and relationship difficulties

v Anxiety, depression and stress

v Abuse and bullying

v Assertiveness and anger management

v Decision making and problem solving

v Bereavement and loss

v Addictions such as alcohol, gambling or drugs

v Confidence and self-esteem

You chose your staff well and they are your most important resource – look after them and they will reward you.
