Joanna Bieszczad MSc, PgDip, BSc (Hons), BABCP (Accred)
About me
I am an experienced senior counsellor, CBT therapist and EMDR therapist and have been working in mental health for over 10 years with various client groups. I have previously worked in the therapeutic community, for charity counselling services, for a GP surgery, for a University Counselling Service and as a Senior CBT therapist and EMDR therapist in the NHS. I am accredited by the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
I offer one-to-one face to face, telephone or Skype sessions in a safe and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your difficulties and concerns. I engage with my clients on an equal level, and work together with them towards personal growth, life-changes or acceptance of what cannot be changed.
I endeavor to keep my skills and knowledge updated through attending various training courses, seminars and workshops. I am also keen to read relevant articles and books to increase my knowledge and keep up to date with advances in mental health care and psychological interventions.
I am also a founder of a workshop for women - Embracing Venus. The main aim of the workshop is to help women who want to find a suitable partner and enjoy a loving relationship to change their old patterns and acquire the necessary skills to help them to do so.
