I am a qualified (MBACP Registered) Counsellor/Supervisor with over 15 years experience working with individuals of all ages, working with an eclectic approach in line with the BACP Ethical Framework: www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework
My experience has led me to initiate and establish a counselling services within both Independent and Special Education Needs schools, providing counselling to pupils, parents/carers & staff.
I was also responsible for the running of regular Parenting Workshops and Support Groups (Younify) for parents/carers whose children have ADHD, Autism & Behavioural Difficulties, as well as Problem Solving Discussion Groups & Supervision for staff. In addition I am currently Co-facilitating a variety of CPD counselling workshops.
My private practice has seen me take on a variety of cases, including the Integrated Youth Support Service (IYSS), where I was approached in 2010 to undertake Individual & Family Therapy with their Family Intervention Project (FIP), now Streets Ahead and the Youth Offending Service (YOS).

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Areas of counselling I deal with
I am currently welcoming individual clients at a rate of £40 per 50min session & couples/family at £45 per 50min session.
I am also offering Supervision at a rate of £50 per 1h 30min session.
I do offer a discounted rate (on all fees) to Trainee's, which is negotiable at the discretion of myself and the client.
