Cindy Pearce, UKCP
Life is meaningful - welcome to the journey!
My name is Cindy Pearce and I am a London based Registered Psychotherapist and Healer who practices in Islington. My role is to help you navigate your way through the mental, emotional or spiritual difficulties that are challenging you right now to help you achieve lasting transformation and personal growth.
"If my life is going to mean anything, I have to live it myself." William Shakespeare
Over many years of study I have been guided to develop a unique healing approach to my practice.
I incorporate elements of *Energy Psychotherapy: Advanced Integrative Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Psychoanalytic Energy Psychotherapy, and also draw on Eastern therapies which work to balance the meridians and the chakras.* Please scroll down to 'Other Areas' for more information on Energy Psychotherapy
My approach is integrative, allowing me to work with you according to your individual needs. I help you find ways to understand yourself better, to recognise and make choices, to develop your confidence and trust in yourself, and to become more aligned with your life journey.
Some of the issues that people bring to their sessions with me include:
- Low self esteem
- Anxiety or worry
- Work and career
- Repeated mistakes
- Questions around spirituality/life purpose
- Eating disorders
- Relationship difficulties
- Family conflict
- Alcohol dependency
Measurable outcomes may include:
- increased self awareness
- a shift in perspective - choices are revealed!
- a realistic sense of how you are seen by others
- insight into the origins of emotional difficulties
- freedom from patterns of negative behaviour
- greater self confidence and self-trust
- heightened spiritual awareness
- greater vitality, the ability to relax
- freedom from worry or anxiety
The context for our work is my belief in the vast potential of each and every one of us! I offer support in a safe place where healing and growth can take place.
"Looking back, it’s hard to imagine how I felt only 13 months ago. Although it has been one of the more challenging periods of my life, I wouldn't choose my old self over what I have learned and who I have become through my counselling experience."
"Cindy has helped me to get back to the person that I once was but with a new and fresh outlook on life. I cannot thank her enough for leading me towards a bright future."
"Thank you for guiding me through my mixed up emotions, helping me untangle them and to understand myself more clearly. Counselling has benefited all areas of my life, but mostly my family relationships."

Energy Psychotherapy is able to address emotional experience which has become locked or frozen into the body’s energy system and has been referred to as 'acupuncture without needles' for emotional disorders and trauma.
Energy Psychology can resolve limiting or negative behaviour and beliefs, gently and swiftly releasing traumatic events that are frozen in the body-mind system without having to revisit or relive the original trauma.
