About me

Searching for a therapist is the first positive step towards making changes in your life, yet I understand it can also feel daunting. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can work together to gain insight into the underlying patterns and experiences that may be shaping your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

There may be many reasons that have brought you here today.

  • Perhaps you have experienced significant life events that need time, space, and support to process.
  • Maybe stress, anxiety, or depression are affecting your wellbeing and mental health, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of who you are.
  • You may be questioning whether you have ADHD, are autistic, or are experiencing sensory differences that you would like to explore and better understand.
  • Perhaps you feel stuck, dissatisfied, or uncertain about certain aspects of your life and are unsure how to move forward.
  • Or maybe you find yourself wondering why the same patterns keep repeating, why certain difficulties persist, or why relationships seem to encounter the same challenges time and time again.

Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to face it alone. Therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to explore your experiences, gain greater self-understanding, and work towards meaningful change.

Taking the step to seek therapy takes courage and reflects your capacity to create meaningful change in your life. If you feel ready to make changes but are unsure where to begin, it can be helpful to speak with someone who is impartial and separate from your family and friends. Therapy offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you gain greater clarity, understanding, and confidence in moving forward.

Who am I?

My name is Wei, and I hold a Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am a UKCP-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist.

As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw upon a range of therapeutic theories and approaches, tailoring my work to meet your individual needs. I understand that every person experiences life differently, shaped by their unique history, relationships, culture, social context, neurotype and life experiences.

Our work begins with understanding your perspective - how your past experiences, relationships, cultural background, and current circumstances influence what you are feeling today. Before considering any particular therapeutic approach, I aim to understand you through your own unique lens and work collaboratively in a way that feels meaningful and supportive.

How I Can Help

In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to lose sight of ourselves as we become caught up in constant demands, digital overload, and the pressure to keep moving forward. Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most to you.

I view the therapeutic process as an opportunity to create a more meaningful, fulfilling, and authentic life. My role is to:

  • Support you through emotional distress and life's challenges while helping you identify ways of living that feel more satisfying and aligned with your needs.
  • Encourage personal growth by supporting you to make choices that feel right for you and consistent with your values.
  • Help you develop greater clarity and self-understanding by exploring obstacles, recognising strengths, and accessing the inner resources that support confidence and self-esteem.
  • Empower you to make lasting changes that enhance your wellbeing and enable you to live more authentically.

How I Work

My approach is inherently person-centred and relational. Alongside this, I draw upon motivational interviewing to help you discover your own answers and strengths, free from the expectations or influences of others. My work is also informed by developmental psychology, neurobiology, and psychodynamic theory.

I offer a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. Together, we will explore your feelings, make sense of your experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of what you need. My aim is to support you through whatever difficulties you may be facing and help you move towards greater clarity, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.

My Approach:

Safe and Compassionate

Feeling safe, accepted, and not rushed is fundamental to the therapeutic process. My experience working with vulnerable and hard-to-reach clients has taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, rather than where others think they should be.

I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for you. This relationship provides the foundation for meaningful exploration, healing, and change.

Reflective and Interactive

I actively engage in the therapeutic process by helping you identify recurring patterns, exploring the origins of behaviours that may be causing conflict or distress, and making sense of how your past experiences continue to influence your present life.

Together, we can develop greater self-awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns, and explore healthier ways of relating to yourself and others that are more closely aligned with your values and aspirations.

Moving Forward

My goal is to support you in living a happier, more fulfilling life that feels true to who you are. I aim to help you strengthen your sense of self, build confidence and self-assurance, and develop healthier, more meaningful relationships.

I understand that finding the right therapist can feel challenging. If you feel that I may be able to help, I invite you to arrange an initial session, either online or in person. This provides an opportunity for us to meet, explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss what you hope to gain from our work together, and see whether we feel like the right fit.
