Christine Ketley (now Sands) MBACP Accred
It is important for you to feel comfortable with a counsellor who interacts genuinely and empathically. As a counsellor of individuals and couples, and as a qualified clinical supervisor, I have over fourteen years experience working in both GP surgeries and private practice (Special appointments now available for emergency booking).
I specialise in working with couples and individuals with relationship issues - a very important area of work in these days of high divorce rates.
In my work, I provide warmth with intelligent professionalism to enable my clients to explore, understand and find solutions to their problems.
I have extensive training in person centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy and understand the importance of working in a way that is suitable for you and establishing a good professionsal therapeutic relationship for successful counselling.
It is essential to carefully and sensitively assess the needs of my clients to ensure you make full use of the service.
I have worked successfully with clients of all ages from all walks of life with a wide range of problems both in time limited and in longer term work. I work with issues such as depression, anxiety, abuse, anger, stress, employment issues, bereavement.
I am also a qualified and experienced clinical supervisor and welcome potential supervisees to discuss their needs and our professional compatability.
I work in a very comfortable environment, am fully insured and of course, confidentiality is assured.
