About me
Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or alone with your thoughts? I provide a peaceful, nurturing, and confidential space where you can offload and unpick what's on your mind. As an experienced and accredited person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist, I work in a pluralistic way, meaning I tailor my approach to your unique needs - because every client requires different support at different times. Having undergone personal therapy myself as part of my training, I deeply understand what it’s like to sit in the client’s chair.
Our lives are a complex mix of relationships, emotions and pressures, which are made more stressful and overwhelming by life events such as bereavement and loss, traumatic experiences and relationship breakdown. I believe that we all have the capacity and 'tools' within us to cope with what life throws at us, but these can be 'locked up' by how we have responded to past events which could have made us become dis-empowered and vulnerable.
Located in Winchelsea, in the heart of East Sussex, I am within easy reach of Rye, Winchelsea, Battle, Hastings, and St Leonards. I offer face-to-face sessions at my private premises, which include a discreet indoor space or a covered outdoor area, both designed to help you feel comfortable and at ease. For added flexibility, I also provide sessions via phone, Zoom, or WhatsApp video. While face-to-face therapy is often the most effective for building the therapeutic relationship, I’m happy to discuss what works best for you in terms of format, duration, and frequency of sessions.
In addition to counselling, I also provide clinical supervision for those in the caring professions. With extensive experience in supervision, I am further consolidating my skills through continued study. If you’re looking for supportive supervision to enhance your professional practice, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
