About me

As well as counselling online Tuesdays to Thursdays, I now have some availability for face to face clients in Bournemouth (BH8) every 2 weeks on a Wednesday afternoon.

People seek counselling for a variety of reasons.   When life is not working such as emotional pain, struggles of various kinds, childhood hurts, sexual, emotional, physical abuse, bullying, eating disorders anorexia, bulimia, overeating anxiety, fear, self-esteem, relationships, marriage etc. No problem is too small or big to bring to counselling.

The aim of counselling is for a counsellor to provide a safe place for you to process and share problems and difficulties confidentially and without judgement.  In counselling people often discover more about themselves, reflect and process their lives which leads to increased self-awareness, breakthroughs and healing.  I meet with people from different beliefs, backgrounds and walks of life.

I am an integrative counsellor which means I apply different theories and training to the way I work.  Some of these theories are Gestalt, CBT, Attachment theory, inner child, creativity, Enneagram, Myers Briggs, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems etc.  My training and experience help me to help you achieve your goal in counselling.

I have been practising as a counsellor for about 18 years.  My qualifications include a BA Hons degree in counselling at Waverley Abbey College (Roehampton University).  I have recently graduated with an MA in counselling awarded by Middlesex University.

Fees: 1 to 1 counselling online is £60 per session.  Face to face counselling is £70 per session (the increased fee is due to rental costs).  Couples counselling is £80 per session.  I also have flexibility for lower-paying clients.  I receive regular supervision and keep the identity of clients confidential.  I offer a free phone or online meeting before the first session.

If you are interested please send an email or leave a message on my phone.
