Do you feel stuck in repeated patterns of behaviour? Do you feel that everything is your fault? Maybe you feel that there is something 'wrong' with you - this I can assure you is far from the truth.
Everything we feel, think and react to, is simply down to past and present events which have influenced our lives. These significant events hold an emotional charge which if not expressed at the time can lead to supressed emotional blockages.
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling seeks to help clients arrive at some sense of peace within themselves. This may seem for some an impossible task but if we choose and take a little courage by taking the first step, peace and wellbeing can be achieved. Imagine that every time we were able to forgive and accept the cause and effect of all that has happened to us throughout our lives this would bring acceptance and a deeper state of self love? Until we love and accept ourselves, it is impossible to love and accept others.
There is a volume of evidence that the suppression of emotions can lead to ill health.
For our own protection and to help us cope, we often bury or deny what it is we are feeling, these suppressed emotions then form the blocks or filters through which we live our lives and limit our true potential.
Stress, depression and many other issues are often rooted in suppressed emotional memories and pain. Without acknowledgement and expression these buried feelings stay with us and block our ability to live the rich and full lives we desire.
Looking at the connection between past events and current feelings can bring about a greater understanding, safely healing any past hurts or emotional wounds will ultimately lead to increased personal strength and empowerment.
I offer a range of integrated therapies and have practiced privately for over 15 years. As we are all unique the therapies I provide are tailored to meet individual needs.
We all face psychological challenges in life; overcoming our limiting beliefs, unwanted behaviour patterns, overpowering emotions sometimes those problems become really disruptive. Sometimes our lives would be so much better if only we could do/feel differently.
To help clients arrive at change, my sole intent is to facilitate healing which means exploring the automatic thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours that hold us back and prevent us from being our true selves, which is why at some point during the healing journey it may feel appropriate to use Hypnotherapy for Regression, Inner Child Healing and Energy Healing.
It is a safe and powerful way to access supressed memories and to release the energy or emotion that was attached to those events. It is not about overriding programmes that are stored in the subconscious, but it's all about releasing the experiences and traumas that are stored in the body. There is a Mind,Body and Spirit connection and you are guided to release the emotions that were stored at the time of the experience in a safe supportive environment.
In a warm, safe non judgemental and supportive environment my aim is to assist and support clients in acknowledging, accepting and dealing with suppressed emotional pain in a healthy, integrated way.
To access that loving whole part of us that we are designed to be can be liberating and empowering.
