About us

BACP/UKCP accredited and registered therapists, established in 1995 Highly professional team of therapists covering a wide range of therapeutic approaches. Clinical skills include Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Hypnotherapists, lifecoach, mediator, EFT and EMDR Male and female therapists available of various ethnicity, helpful, friendly and approachable.

Low cost options with speedy responses. We have our head office in South Woodford, East London which is served well by local transport links just 100 yards from the tube and borough car parking. The aim of our Agency is to provide a professional, confidential and secure emvornment which is highly responsive to individual, couple and group needs. We came to be in existance to allow clients to be able to access counselling/psychotherapy within hours to suit their own diaries.

Sometimes we need to work issue/problems out in a safe space away from even family and friends. Please allow us to demonstrate to you that therapy offered from Forest genuinely helps you the client to become empowered to feel back in control of your life. We only get a short time on this planet, but when personal challenges become overwhelming we can lose sight of life's pleasure. Training, qualifications & experience

Each therapist is fully qualified and has between 2-21 years experience in their allocated field. They are registered with their professional body's. The practice adheres stringently to the code of good practice and code of conduct as stated by BACP adn UKCP and NCHP.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Fees

Fees vary between £25 with final year students, to £85 with Clinical Psychologist. The majority of experiencred therapist charge 45 pounds for individual work and £55 for couple work.
