About me

I am a professionally qualified BACP Accredited counsellor and supervisor who has extensive experience in a wide variety of therapeutic settings. This means I can use a range of approaches and techniques to suit a clients individual needs.

I provide a safe, accepting, confidential space for clients to explore their difficulties; working together to make sense of what they are experiencing in order to gain awareness, understanding, and a better quality of life.

I have a private practice in Central London near Shoreditch and Liverpool Street and in Berkhamsted where I work with people from age 13 upwards and have experience of working with clients experiencing a wide range of issues. I hold full Professional Liability and indemnity Insurance and work to the BACP Ethical Framework. I offer an initial meeting with no obligation where we can see if working together would be beneficial to you.

I also work as a management consultant for large corporations on employee wellbeing and present workshops on mental health in the workplace. As a qualified executive coach I can offer support to individuals on work related issues and leadership.

I am pleased to offer a free telephone consultation so that you can see if I am the right therapist for you.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
