Supervision details
I have completed a narrative supervision training module (part of the diploma) with the Institute of Narrative Therapy. I offer clinical supervision to majority of the therapists I manage at my NHS role. I engage in monthly group supervision with 'a time and space', an London based organisation whereby clinical psychologists working with narrative and community-informed practices come together to offer psychological therapy to the community and engage in supervision using narrative framework. I am also clinically supervised by a narrative therapist.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
