Supervision details
Hi
My name is Georgina, Founder and Director of Traumaform CIC, Trauma Specialist, Addiction Counsellor, EMDR Practitioner (accred) and Supervisor.
I completed the Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working Level 6 in December 2022, as well as a Trauma Supervision course in 2017 as part of CPD.
I work mainly with the Seven-eyed modal of supervision (Hawkins and Shohet, 1985). Most supervision is online and at a time that suits us both. The focus is mainly on trauma, but I also offer more generic supervision.
Working with Trauma and PTSD has its challenges as those who work with trauma will know. Specific trauma supervision can help guide through these difficult processes.
Often of course, generic counsellors and therapists may not have specific trauma training, but may come across traumatised clients and feel slightly overwhelmed or out of their depth - again specific trauma supervision can be helpful to find a way through.
I offer individual supervision at £ 80.00 per hour.
I also offer Group Supervision to between 4 and 6 clients if there is enough interest with the next Group starting 6.30 pm on Wed 18th June 2025. These are 90 min and closed groups and run for 6 months at a cost of £ 180.00 in total.
If you are interested, I'm happy for us to have a quick introductory call to see if the approach fits.
Many thanks
Georgina

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
