Supervision details

Clinical Supervision That Helps You Grow as a Therapist... and as a Human Being
Being a therapist can be incredibly rewarding. It can also be lonely.

We're expected to hold other people's pain, uncertainty and trauma whilst somehow always knowing the right thing to do. The reality is, most of us question ourselves far more than we admit.

That's where good supervision comes in.

For me, supervision isn't about ticking boxes or feeling like you're being assessed.

It's about having somewhere you can bring your whole self.

The client who keeps you awake at night.

The session that didn't go how you'd hoped.

The ethical dilemma that isn't black and white.

The part of you that wonders whether you're good enough.

The excitement when something clicks.

The creative idea you can't wait to try.

All of it is welcome.

My Approach
I'm an integrative psychotherapist and creative clinical supervisor, and I believe the relationship between supervisor and supervisee is just as important as the relationship between therapist and client.

I want supervision to feel safe enough for you to think out loud.

To ask the questions you worry might sound silly.

To explore your blind spots without fear of judgement.

To celebrate what's going well as much as understand what's feeling difficult.

I'll support you, gently challenge you when needed, and help you trust your own thinking rather than becoming dependent on mine.

Because my goal isn't to create therapists who work like me.

It's to help you become more confidently you.

Creative, Relational and Grounded
If you're someone who enjoys thinking creatively, you'll probably feel at home here.

Alongside thoughtful discussion, we might use imagery, metaphor, cards, timelines, nature, objects or other creative interventions to explore client work and your own process.

Not because they're gimmicks.

Because sometimes they help us see something words alone can't.

If creativity isn't your thing, that's absolutely fine too. Every supervision session is shaped around you and the way you think and learn.

More Than Case Management
Of course we'll cover client work, ethics, safeguarding and professional responsibility.

We'll also make space for you.

Your confidence.

Your identity as a therapist.

Imposter syndrome.

Burnout.

Boundaries.

Private practice.

Marketing.

Finding your own voice.

Because how you're doing will always influence the work you do with your clients.

Who I Work With
I work with qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and trainees looking for a warm, collaborative and honest supervisory relationship.

Many of the therapists I work with are drawn to creativity, trauma-informed practice, ADHD, addiction, abuse, relationships or working in a more relational way.

You don't need to work like I do.

You simply need to want a space where you can think deeply, be yourself and continue growing.

A Relationship, Not Just a Monthly Meeting
Supervision shouldn't feel like you're left on your own between sessions.

Alongside our scheduled supervision, I offer reasonable support by phone, email or WhatsApp if something unexpected comes up and you need another perspective.

Sometimes knowing someone is there is enough.

My Promise
I won't expect perfection.

I won't shame your mistakes.

I won't pretend I have all the answers.

What I will do is think alongside you with curiosity, honesty and kindness.

We'll make sense of the work together, protect your clients, support your wellbeing and help you become the therapist you want to be.

Because you don't need to become another therapist.

You need permission to become more of yourself.
