Supervision details
I offer supervision as a collaborative, reflective space that supports ethical, effective and compassionate practice. My supervisory approach is grounded in CBT and informed by trauma-aware, integrative perspectives, including EMDR-informed and mindfulness-based work, where these form part of a supervisee’s clinical context.
Supervision with me focuses on clinical formulation, intervention planning, risk management and safeguarding, alongside attention to the therapist’s cognitive, emotional and relational responses. I support supervisees to think clearly about complexity, uncertainty and stuckness, and to apply evidence-based principles thoughtfully rather than mechanically.
While I do not offer modality-specific supervision in EMDR or MBCT, I am experienced in supporting clinicians who use these approaches to reflect on clinical decision-making, ethical practice and the impact of trauma work on the practitioner. Supervision is held as a space for reflective learning, professional accountability and sustainable practice.
My style is structured, calm and non-judgemental. I aim to offer supervision that balances clarity and care, supporting practitioners to develop confidence, flexibility and integrity in their work.
