Supervision details
My approach to supervision is based on the Seven-Eyed model of supervision developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet. I pay close attention to not only the client's presentation, but also to the relational dynamic present between you and your client, as well as your own therapeutic process. I believe that the therapeutic relationship gives us so much insight into a client's world, and understanding this relationship can aid us in gaining a better understanding as to what interventions might be most suitable for our clients.
I am an integrative practitioner experienced in a variety of therapeutic models including Schema therapy, CBT, trauma-focused, CFT, and PCT. I'm passionate about helping therapists sit with and reflect on areas that they may find tricky, perhaps because they bring up feelings of stuckness or discomfort - I think those give us great opportunities to grow not only professionally, but also personally. I will gently challenge you to look at these areas, whilst always respecting your pace and therapeutic process.
My fee is £85 per 50 minute session. I'm happy to offer a free 30min chat to discuss your needs further and see if we'd be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
