Supervision details

Supervision That Supports You
Supervision isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about keeping you sharp, supported, and confident in your work. You shouldn’t leave sessions feeling exactly the same as when you walked in—you should leave clearer, stronger, and with real strategies you can actually use.

If you just want a supervisor to nod and say, “That sounds tough,” I’m probably not the right fit. But if you want real feedback, practical strategies, and a space where you actually grow—let’s talk.

What I Offer
I’ve worked across the NHS, charities, and private practice—supporting children, survivors of abuse, mental health teams, and counsellors like you. I currently work in an NHS service, so I understand the real-world pressures of this job.

Supervision isn’t just about case discussion. It’s about ensuring:
You feel confident in your work – even when cases are complex.
You’re not burning out – because this work is tough, and you don’t have to carry it alone.
You leave with clarity – not just reflection, but real, practical strategies you can apply.

How I Work

  • A Supportive Space – No judgment, no pressure. Bring whatever’s on your mind, and know I’ve got your back.
  • Practical & Actionable – Expect fresh perspectives, real guidance, and useful strategies (not just “and how does that make you feel?”).
  • Emotional Processing + Clear Next Steps – Yes, you get space to reflect—but you also walk away knowing what to do next. Supervision shouldn’t just be “talking about talking.”

 Practical Details

  • Where? In-person (Seale Hayne, Newton Abbot – quiet space, easy parking) or online/phone for flexibility.
  • Fees? £50 per hour / £70 for 1.5 hours.
  • Who’s This For? Counsellors, psychotherapists, & mental health practitioners—whether in training or fully qualified.

Free 30-Minute Consultation – See If We’re a Fit
Finding the right supervisor is key. That’s why I offer a no-pressure, no-commitment call—so you can get a feel for how I work and decide if it’s right for you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
