Supervision details

I offer ongoing or ad hoc supervision for therapists working with eating disorder-related cases. With over nine years of experience in NHS Eating Disorder Services, I specialize in treating eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, perfectionism, and related mental health challenges. I’m an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (BABCP) and Senior Therapist within the NHS, where I provide one-to-one therapy, lead group programs for Binge Eating Disorder, and offer training and supervision to other clinicians.

I’m experienced in delivering several evidence-based treatments, including MANTRA, SSCM, and CBT-E/CBT-T, and use an integrative approach tailored to each individual’s needs. My background in Occupational Therapy complements my therapeutic work, allowing me to support clients through a range of life difficulties and related struggles.

As a supervisor, I am committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and compassionate environment for therapists. My supervision style is laid back and approachable, creating a safe space where supervisees feel comfortable discussing challenges and exploring new ideas. I offer guidance grounded in clinical expertise and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in eating disorder treatment. I aim to empower my supervisees by providing constructive feedback, helping them build confidence in their skills, and ensuring they feel supported in their professional development. With a focus on mutual respect and open communication, I strive to create a space where therapists can grow, reflect, and thrive in their practice.
