Supervision details
I am a clinical psychologist and supervisor with extensive experience across NHS, private, and healthcare settings, working with children, adults, and patients with diverse needs. In my role at Royal Holloway, University of London, I also lecture and supervise doctoral trainees.
My integrative approach to supervision draws on evidence-based models such as CBT, ACT, and CFT, alongside other training acquired over years of clinical practice. I place strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship’s dynamics, recognising its complexities and importance in effective psychological work. Through this lens, I support supervisees in applying technical skills and in managing relational and contextual factors that impact therapy outcomes. My aim is to foster an open, reflective, and supportive supervisory space where supervisees feel empowered to deliver their best practice, enhance their clinical competencies, and continue their professional growth in a safe and collaborative framework.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
