Supervisor

Supervision details

I offer a warm, supportive and down to earth supervision space where you can bring your client work open and honestly. My approach is predominantly person-centred, and I place real value on building a trusting and collaborative relationship where you can feel safe to reflect, question and grow at your own pace.

I aim to create a space where you feel heard and understood as a practitioner, not just in the work that you do, but in how the work impacts you. Alongside gently exploring your client work, we can think together about what is going on beneath the surface - your responses, patterns, challenges and strengths.

While my core approach is person-centred, I work integratitively within my own private practice, and will adapt supervision to suit your needs, experience and way of working. I am here to support you with clinical work, ethical considerations, boundaries, confidence and self-care, always holding your well-being alongside that of your clients.

Whether you are newly-qualified, in training, or more experienced, supervision with me is a space to feel supported, encouraged and gently challenged, so you can continue to develop in a way that feels authentic to you.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I offer counselling sessions in my summerhouse, which is accessed by a step up. I do not have toilet facilities within the summerhouse, but am happy to guide you to a shared toilet if the need would arise during a session.
