Supervision details

Are you looking for more than a space to download your client work? A space where you can explore, develop, grow and flourish in your professional skill, ability and capability.

Supervision is more than a professional obligation, it’s an opportunity to build a collaborative, supportive, and authentic relationship where you can reflect on and understand human contact and connection.

About Me:

I am a qualified, integrative counsellor and mental health professional offering low-cost supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and mental health professionals, medical and social work professionals, educational practitioners etc whilst I’m completing my clinical supervision training.

I run a thriving private practice, and also work as a trauma and addiction recover therapist for a community interest company.

I am friendly, warm, funny, engaging, creative, energetic, enthusiastic, open, honest, caring, considerate and very passionate in my self and my work.

My modalities and methods of working include:

Person Centred, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Trauma Informed, Tri Phased Trauma Model, Internal Family Systems, Attachment and Psycho-educative.

My areas of interest include:

Depression, anxiety, low-mood, relationship challenges, relation difficulties and relational trauma, attachment, bereavement, loss, grief, neurodiversity, sexuality, substance use, intrusive thoughts, obsessive tendencies. I also enjoy working creatively.

Supervision and Me:

In my own practice and organisational work, I highly value my engagement with supervision and the relationships I have been fortunate to forge with my supervisors over the years.

In light of this, I offer a supervision space that is holistic and all encompassing. This means I work with supervisees in their entirety and don’t simply focus on client work. In addition to this, I believe that supervision is a bi-directional relationship and interaction. Where appropriate, I will share my own professional experiences, challenges, joys, mistakes, struggles and successes to aid our work. I believe that contextual and timely self disclosure builds safety, trust and authenticity.

Therefore, supervision with me is a space in which you can explore your client work from multiple perspectives, as well as as space where you can explore training and professional development, needs, interests and plans, private practice building, business development, profile building, advertising, organisational and systemic dynamics and more.

In addition to this, I also have a keen interest in supporting you in exploring and managing your self-care needs and interests, any life challenges you may be facing, or life changes or commitments that may shape or impact you and your work.

Get in touch ...

I offer free 20 minute initial calls, during which we can get to know each other a little more and how we both work as well as discussing logistics, costings etc.

If this sounds like you’d like to explore this way of working further, get in touch.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
