Supervision details
Supervision for Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Wellbeing Practitioners, and Coaches
I offer professional and creative supervision for practitioners who wish to feel seen, supported, and resourced in their work. My approach provides a safe, collaborative space where you and your practice can feel nourished and supported. Creativity, embodiment, and connection to your own innate wisdom are central to my supervision style.
My Approach
The supervision I offer draws on a range of integrative models that offer both depth and flexibility:
• Proctor’s Three Function Model: offering a balanced framework that supports the formative (learning and development), normative (ethical and professional standards), and restorative (supportive and resourcing) functions of supervision.
• CRAFTS Model (Creativity, Reflection, Awareness, Facilitation, Training, and Support) - encouraging creativity, reflection, and the integration of professional and personal growth.
• Seven-Eyed Model - enabling exploration through multiple lenses, including the client–practitioner relationship, the supervisory dynamic, and the wider systemic and contextual influences shaping your work.
• Eco-Supervision - incorporating awareness of the natural environment as a reflective partner in the supervisory process, offering grounding, perspective, and deeper connection to your own wisdom.
Settings
I offer supervision in a range of settings to suit different needs and preferences:
• Outdoors, at two beautiful nature-based locations: Cromford and Black Rocks.
• Indoors, from my practice base at Cromford Mills, in a calm and comfortable setting.
• Online, for flexibility and accessibility.
• Blended approach, combining outdoor, indoor, and online sessions where appropriate.
What to Expect
Whether you are navigating burnout, ethical dilemmas, or the complexities of relational work, I offer a reflective space to pause, integrate, and reconnect with the values and wisdom that guides your practice. Together, we attend to both your professional development, client work and personal wellbeing.
My practice, Sakura Therapy, is inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom: a symbol of renewal, beauty, and the courage to begin again. I bring that same spirit into supervision: a time for reflection, growth, and professional renewal.
