Supervision details
In addition to many years of counselling and psychotherapy experience, I have worked in a supervision and leadership role for over a decade. My experience in the field includes working with charities, hospitals, community organisations, and private practice. I've worked with families, young people, adolescents and adults.
I have a diverse range of practical experience to bring. With a Masters in Counselling Psychology, I also hold a strong clinical lens to support with more complex client issues and ethical situations.
My specialities include working within body-centred psychotherapy (such as EMDR or Hakomi or Somatic therapy) and using deeper processing techniques. Additionally, I am open to working outside of the box, including integrating spirituality and energy psychology into client sessions.
My approach to supervision is offering a safe and collaborative space for exploration of difficulties, challenges, and successes. A space to offer feedback and emotional support while building technical skills and deepening into who you are as a counsellor.
Similar to the way I work with clients, I integrate an intuitive approach and I like to explore deeper into what might be going on beneath the surface. I find this helps us notice patterns within our clients, our work, and ourselves.
Please inquire if you'd like to learn more. I am happy to have an initial introductory call.
Working with individuals at different levels of practice, I welcome inquiries from students and seasoned practitioners. I am open to working with different time commitments, including long term regular supervision or as needed models.
