Supervision details

I understand how transformative clinical supervision with the right supervisor can be. I aim to offer a warm, inclusive, neuro-affirming and person-centred space for supervisees from diverse professions. My intention is to ensure you do not feel limited by neuro-normative expectations of ‘being’ in supervision and instead feel able to express yourself, and explore your work in creative and unique ways that feel right to you.

I am a qualified psychodynamically-informed Music Therapist, with influences from humanistic therapy, compassion-focused therapy and transactional analysis. Drawing on my training and experience, I practise with an integrative approach as a Creative Psychotherapist and Supervisor. I am a thoughtful, attuned and committed practitioner with a wealth of experience, particularly in the areas of neurodivergence, disability, eating disorders, family dynamics, inner child work and trauma. Beyond my private practice, my work has included supporting adults and children in NHS and private mental healthcare services, educational settings, and neurorehabilitation. For more information, please feel free to check out my therapist profile.

Areas where I might be able to support you include (but are not limited to):

  • Self-care, burnout and boundaries
  • Personal challenges and how they interplay with your work as a therapist
  • Self-disclosure and ethical considerations
  • Setting up private practice/freelance work, maintaining it, ensuring it feels sustainable
  • Helping you understand and develop your niche
  • Learning to feel ‘good enough’, and develop confidence in yourself and your work

I am currently furthering my skills as a supervisor by undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Creative Supervision, accredited by NCPS. During this time I will be offering a reduced rate of £45 for 1 hour sessions, and £65 for 1.5 hour sessions. Sessions take place online and in-person, on a regular or ad hoc basis.

If you are interested in the possibility of working together, or you’re thinking about adding additional supervision to your current set-up, please feel free to contact me for a free taster session.

I look forward to hearing from you.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
