Supervision details
I offer 1:1 clinical supervision in therapy rooms in Christchurch, Dorset and online via zoom. I work with individuals and groups to support teams of counsellors, support workers, nurses. Current contract is with the Priory, amongst other renowned treatment centres and clinics. Specialism is in addiction treatment, with 20 years' working experience in the field of addiction and with a First Class honours degree in Addictions Counselling. Accredited member of Addictions Professionals and NCPS registered.
My supervision training was with the renowned Robin Shohet and Joan Wilmot (founders of Supervision in the Helping Professions) at the Centre for Supervision and Team Development (CSTD), London. I am qualified in the following modes of supervision:
- Core Supervision
- Therapeutic Supervision/Seven Eyed Model (Shohet and Hawkins)
- Group Supervision
- Advanced/Integration Supervision
The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
