Supporting your growth and helping you build a sustainable practice

I am an ethically minded psychotherapist, and Level 6 Clinical Supervisor, and the founder of VIVA Counselling & Psychotherapy, an online group practice specialising in ADHD and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy for individuals and couples.

My supervision practice is rooted in the belief that good supervision does not simply monitor work – it nurtures the development of the therapist.

I am committed to offering a supportive, ethical and growth-focused space where you can develop confidence, clarity and resilience in your clinical practice.

Together, we work towards discovering and strengthening your “supervisor within,” helping you build trust in your own judgement and sustain a practice that feels both competent and aligned.

My Clinical Background

Alongside supervision, I work as a psychotherapist supporting individuals with anxiety, low self-esteem, ADHD and rejection sensitivity. I specialise in couples therapy, particularly with neurodivergent couples where ADHD or autism shapes the relational dynamic.

I have a deep interest in how neurodiversity influences communication, conflict and connection within relationships.

As a neurodivergent therapist and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to my work. This dual perspective informs my supervision – offering nuance, compassion and a grounded appreciation of difference.

My Approach to Supervision

Supervision with me is reflective, collaborative and relational. It is a space to:

  • Explore your client work in depth
  • Consider relational dynamics within the therapy room
  • Navigate ethical dilemmas and safeguarding concerns
  • Reflect on countertransference and use of self
  • Develop your professional identity and clinical voice

I particularly enjoy supporting trainees and newly qualified counsellors, and working with experienced therapists setting up and developing their private practice, neurodivergent therapists, and those working with ADHD or LGBTQ+ clients.

My approach is thoughtful and grounded, encouraging curiosity, self-awareness and steady professional growth.

What I Offer You in Supervision

My supervision is comprehensive – supporting both clinical excellence and the sustainability of your practice.

Clinical Development – We deepen your theoretical understanding, ethical decision-making and clinical interventions. Our supervisory relationship becomes a live space for exploring process, parallel dynamics and self-reflection in a safe and contained way.

Practice and Business Support – With many years of experience running my own therapy practice – and previously a legal practice – I offer practical support around the realities of self-employment. This includes marketing, boundary setting, fee structures, managing workload, and creating a sustainable long-term practice.

Niche Area Development – We can clarify and articulate your specialist areas of interest, helping you confidently position yourself in the market and align your CPD with the work that energises you most.

Ethical and Legal Clarity – Drawing on both clinical and legal experience, I provide guidance on complex ethical, legal and safeguarding issues, supporting you to meet the professional standards required by bodies such as NCPS and BACP with confidence and integrity.

Supervision, at its best, is both containing and enlivening. My aim is to offer you a space that feels steady, respectful and developmentally stretching – where you can think deeply, grow sustainably, and build a practice that reflects who you are as a therapist.

If you are looking for supervision that supports both your clinical depth and your professional independence, I would be glad to connect with you.

Fees

My full supervision fee is £75 per 1.5-hour session (£50 per hour).

If you are newly qualified, or an experienced therapist who is establishing a private practice for the first time, I offer a reduced introductory fee that increases gradually over your first 12 months of supervision.

I know from experience that the first few years after qualification, or the transition into private practice, can feel both exciting and financially challenging. Client numbers often build gradually, while training and business costs can remain high. For that reason, I offer a stepped fee structure that allows supervision to remain affordable while you establish your practice and find your feet.

Supervisees within their first two years of qualification, and experienced therapists who are new to private practice, can access the following fee structure:

Months 1–4: £30 per hour (£45 per 1.5-hour session)
Months 5–8: £40 per hour (£60 per 1.5-hour session)
Months 9–12: £50 per hour (£75 per 1.5-hour session)
