Supervision details

My supervision practice is built on the integrative 7-eyed model, providing a comprehensive and reflective framework that supports your growth as a therapist. I work collaboratively with supervisees at all levels—whether trainees or fully qualified practitioners—to deepen their understanding and integration of therapeutic modalities while encouraging the discovery and expression of their authentic therapeutic selves.

Drawing from my experience as a lecturer with CPCAB students, I have developed an approach that helps both trainees and qualified counsellors truly embed and embody counselling skills. This background informs the holistic nature of my supervision, which emphasises not only clinical competence but also the personal and professional integration essential for effective, authentic therapy.

I create an enthusiastic and supportive environment where supervisees feel valued and motivated, fostering a sense of excitement and commitment toward their professional development. My supervision style is flexible and tailored to your unique needs, focusing on open, empathetic dialogue and the exploration of challenges and strengths to help you identify and cultivate your therapeutic specialty.

Incorporating coaching techniques, I support you in setting clear, achievable professional goals and assist in meeting your yearly Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements. This structured approach allows your growth to be intentional, manageable, and aligned with your aspirations, making the supervision process both practical and inspiring.

Ultimately, my aim is to provide a nurturing, enriching, and professional supervision experience that empowers you to flourish confidently as a therapist while fully embodying your authentic self.

My supervision practice is conveniently located in the heart of Holywood town, just a short walking distance from both the train and bus stations. It is easily accessible by car, with straightforward routes from both Bangor and Belfast, making it a practical choice for supervisees commuting from either direction.

I offer a flexible blend of online and face-to-face supervision to suit your individual needs and working commitments. Many supervisees appreciate the option to use both formats interchangeably, allowing them to adapt their supervision sessions around their busy schedules without compromising continuity or support.

To enhance your experience further, I provide an easy-to-use online booking system that gives you full autonomy and flexibility to schedule supervision sessions monthly, as and when it suits you. This approach ensures that supervision remains accessible, convenient, and tailored to your professional growth without added stress or hassle.

My first session
I invite supervisees to start with a personalised 30-minute supervision assessment at a reduced rate. This session provides a gentle introduction to supervision, allowing us to connect, clarify your goals, and see if we’re a good fit.

Once booked, I’ll send contracting and paperwork for you to review and complete only if you decide to continue. The assessment gives you a chance to evaluate me as a supervisor without obligation. You’ll also receive a link to a monthly supervision form, designed to help embed counselling skills, maintain clear supervision notes, and track hours.

Respecting both your time and mine, I don’t offer free phone consultations, choosing instead to focus our sessions on meaningful, goal-oriented work. This initial meeting helps clarify your commitment to growth and ensures supervision aligns with your professional development.

Before starting, please consider: Are you eager to deepen your skills and self-awareness? Do you see supervision as a space for honest reflection and growth? Are you open to feedback and challenges?

If yes, I may be the right supervisor to support your ongoing journey. My practice suits those who intentionally seek a supervisor with clear goals and a genuine desire to evolve professionally through reflective, engaged supervision.
