I have 8 years experience offering supervision to psychologists and counsellors. I offer a safe space for therapists to think about clinical work. I am currently the lead of an adult health psychology service at a NHS university hospital where I offer clinical supervision, run a Motivational Interviewing supervision group and teach regularly at CPD seminars. My clinical supervision and practice is informed by a careful application of clinical assessment and diagnosis. I am able to help clinicians to develop treatment plans, manage risk and think about ethical dilemmas. I believe in being practical with patients and using evidence based tools that are proven to be effective and time efficient for the treatment of clinical difficulties. I also have extensive training in working psycho-dynamically and I am influenced by Object Relations theorists such as Winnicott, Bion and Klein. I am available for psycho dynamically oriented supervision as well as supervision with a more general clinical focus.
