Supervision details
The supervision I offer is tailored to support and professionally challenge my supervisees, empowering self reflection and sharing my experience as appropriate. I thrive on taking part in a learning journey and welcome student or newly qualified counsellors as well as experienced counsellors. As a lifelong learner, I see supervision as a development process for myself too.
I use the Seven Eyed Model framework to structure supervision sessions and incorporate aspects from the Integrative Developmental Model to support professional growth.
I have been working as a counsellor for around ten years working for organisations, schools and in private practice. Prior to this I worked as a teacher and headteacher in primary schools so have expertise in child development and the challenges of school life and family life. I also worked within a CAMHS service as a manager so understand the difficulties with thresholds and waiting times. As such, I have lots of experience counselling teenagers in particular, including young people who may be neurodivergent or have another diagnosis.
I now work entirely in private practice with a wide range of clients, face to face, online or by telephone.
