Supervision details

Thank you for taking the time to look at my supervisor profile.

I’m passionate about counselling, supervision and the difference that thoughtful, supportive supervision can make to both your practice and your clients.

I offer a warm, collaborative and confidential space where you can bring all aspects of your client work — including the things that feel challenging, uncertain or difficult to make sense of. Supervision is also a space for you: your thoughts, feelings, responses and experiences within the therapeutic relationship.

Together, we can explore your work with curiosity, gently challenge potential blind spots, reflect on your practice and consider new perspectives or ways of working. My aim is to support you in developing confidence, deepening your self-awareness and continuing to grow as a practitioner, while keeping ethical practice, professional responsibility and your own self-care firmly at the heart of our work.

I believe good supervision should feel both supportive and stimulating — a place where you can think freely, ask questions, explore uncertainty and be challenged constructively, without fear of judgement.

I am an Accredited Member of the BACP, hold a Certificate in Counselling Supervision, and have a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice.

Whether you are looking for a space to reflect on a particular client, explore something that has stayed with you, strengthen your practice or simply have somewhere to think out loud, I’d be delighted to work alongside you.

Supervision is not just about reviewing your work — it’s about creating space for you to develop, reflect and thrive as a practitioner.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
