About me

Hello.  My name is Charlotte and I'm a qualified counsellor/therapist.  I appreciate that coming to counselling can be daunting and it's important you feel heard and valued as an individual. I offer a safe, non-judgemental confidential space where we will work towards greater understanding of yourself, which can assist you in making clearer decisions for your future. I will be led by what is important to you and the goals you would like to achieve. It's a collaborative process but the counselling session is yours.

Life can offer cards to us that we don't want and can feel like we've been hit by a train so unexpectedly.  We can also face changes or choices that can be overwhelming.  Other times we can't put our finger on what is wrong.  We can work together on these challenges that you face.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have level 2, 3 and 4 Diploma in Counselling and am also studying for further qualifications.  I have worked with many clients over the years and look forward to working with many more to help them overcome the challenges they face in life.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
