I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist and CBT practitioner. I hold the level 6 CPCAB certificate in therapeutic counselling supervision. My background is in teaching, so I have good communication skills. I provide a gentle, empathic and supportive space to help you thrive and grow as a therapist. I use the seven-eye supervision model to inform my supervisory practice. I have 8 years of private practice experience, and I now work as a psychotherapist for BUPA Healthcare, and as a psychotherapeutic counsellor for Health Assured Wisdom Wellbeing.
I originally qualified using Clarkson's framework to integrate person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. However, I am also qualified in EMDR, IFS, CBT and in person centred experiential counselling for depression (PCE-CfD). I am trained to work with trauma and I use a variety of somatic techniques in my work. I have worked for an IAPT Centre in West London, both as an assessor and as a psychotherapeutic counsellor.
I have experience of supervising counsellors from a variety of modalities and at various professional stages. I am working with newly qualified counsellors, and I have helped them to establish a successful private practice. I am also supervising more experienced counsellors. I supervise counsellors that are entirely in private practice and those that are juggling a portfolio that includes EAP work and volunteer work. I have helped supervisees through their BACP accreditation process.
I offer both hourly (£45/session) and 90 minute (£60/session) online sessions. I also have some in-person availability in Greater Manchester (OL4) and my rates for in-person supervision are £65/session for an hour and £80/session for 90 minutes.
Trainee Counsellors: The BACP requirements for trainee counsellors is 1.5 hours of supervision per month, with one hour for every eight hours of counselling. However, sessions must take place every two weeks. I offer fortnightly online sessions of one hour that will cover up to 4 counselling hours per week for £35 per session.
I am a registered practitioner for supervision and psychotherapy at Leeds Beckett University and Birmingham Newman University. I also supervise trainees from the University of East London.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
