Clinical Supervision Profile
As a compassionate and supportive clinical supervisor, I offer a warm, collaborative space where supervisees can feel safe to reflect, grow, and develop confidence in their practice. My approach is grounded in the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, allowing for a holistic exploration of client work, therapeutic relationships, practitioner development, and wider professional practice.
I work with understanding, authenticity, and encouragement, recognising that each supervisee brings their own unique strengths, challenges, and professional aspirations. Alongside supporting ethical and effective client work, I have a particular interest in helping counsellors develop and grow their private practice, offering guidance around the practical, professional, and personal aspects of building sustainable therapeutic work.
Having recently completed the NCPS accreditation process myself, I also offer valuable insight and support to supervisees navigating accreditation, helping to demystify the process and provide encouragement, structure, and practical guidance.
My specialist areas include:
- Anxiety
- Bereavement and loss
- Burnout and work-related stress
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Men’s mental health
- Depression
- Women’s health, including menopause
- Trauma-informed practice with a somatic approach
My supervisory style is relational, reflective, and development-focused, balancing support with gentle challenge to nurture both professional competence and personal growth. I am passionate about creating a supervisory relationship that feels empowering, grounded, and genuinely supportive whether you are newly qualified, building in private practice, working towards accreditation, or looking to deepen your therapeutic work.
