Supervision details
Intercultural and Trauma-Informed Clinical Supervision
I specialise in clinical supervision that integrates cultural humility, trauma-informed reflection and neurodivergent awareness. As an HCPC and EuroPsy registered Chartered Psychologist and NHS Senior Psychologist, I offer supervision to counsellors, therapists and psychologists at all stages of practice, including those currently in training.
My supervision suits global majority therapists seeking a supervisor who understands lived cultural experience, and white and minority practitioners committed to equality, anti-oppressive practice and developing genuine cultural competence. I also work with therapists supporting clients around identity, migration, trauma, intersectionality and complex long-term presentations.
My approach draws on the Integrated Developmental Model and Proctor's supervision functions, framed through an intercultural, relational and trauma-informed lens. I offer individual and group supervision across private practice, NHS, academic and international settings.
What supervision with me looks like in practice:
- A culturally responsive, reflective relationship built on accountability and trust
- Support to deepen formulation and integrate cultural awareness into clinical thinking
- Space to explore complex presentations, relational process and practitioner identity
- Neurodivergent-affirming supervision that strengthens clarity, organisation and attuned practice
- Guidance on accreditation pathways for HCPC, BACP and BPS
Personal Therapy for Mental Health Professionals
I also offer personal therapy for counsellors, psychologists and therapists seeking a confidential space to reflect on their wellbeing, professional identity or personal history. With over 14 years of clinical experience, I understand the particular demands of caring work, including burnout, vicarious trauma, boundary strain and role transitions. Sessions are culturally responsive, trauma-informed and available entirely online.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
