Taf Kunorubwe (Mindfulness And CBT)
Accredited practitioners should receive regular CBT supervision appropriate to their level of expertise or their case-load. This is done with the aims of:
- Safeguarding clients by ensuring quality therapy
- Developing therapist skills through continually honing existing skills and learning new skills
- Supporting therapists in dealing with the difficulties therapy may cause for them
- Monitoring and evaluating therapist skills and practice.
Mindfulness in Reading offers private clinical supervision, either for individuals or for small groups, at the consulting room in Central Reading. Alternatively, supervision can be offered via Skype.
This can be offered as one-off consultations, intense supervision for a single training case or regular supervision on a short or long term basis.
Supervision will be provided by Taf Kunorubwe, a BABCP Accredited Therapist. He has completed supervision training and has extensive experience supervising in the NHS and in private settings. He has also supported trainee CBT therapists through Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma CBT courses and provided supervision during and after their training.
We provide CBT supervision and mentoring to health professionals qualified and training to specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This includes psychotherapists, psychologists, counsellors, medical practitioners and mental health nurses, social workers and other professionals interested in CBT models and techniques.
We also offer supervision for Trainee CBT Therapists who as part of the Postgraduate training in CBT require supervision to apply for BABCP Accreditation once they have completed the training. This can include supervisor reports, marking of session recordings using the CTS-R and marking of case studies for BABCP accreditation (Please notes these may be charged separately).
Mindfulness in Reading can provide clinical and case management supervision to teams and organisations.
