Supervision details
I began my career as a practicing therapist in 1978 whilst conducting my doctoral research. Over a long career I have separately qualified in a number of therapeutic styles embracing a truly eclectic approach. I have to date supervised over 100 psychologists and therapists many of whom have worked with me over many years. What we do is not easy, but it is rewarding. My approach to supervision is that if you are not able to maintain your own wellbeing you are less able to help your clients. I offer supervision exclusively by video conference, telephone, and email.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
