Supervision details

I am a compassionate and experienced senior practitioner, with over 25 years experience of working with individuals, couples, and relationship issues within families.

My supervisory qualification is an NCIP Accredited, Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Counselling Supervision (KRCS) (Distinction)

I work with an Integrative model of supervision and place value on the working relationship. to help you explore all aspects of your work, this includes Safeguarding and ethical issues and encouraging self-reflection to professional and personal development.

This is a supportive space for you to discuss your clients, look at any concerns and explore your practice as a therapist. I aim to be a warm, supportive ally for you in Supervision, ensuring that you feel confident working with your clients.

I can also work creatively, should that be useful to you.

Supervision is conducted via F2F or Zoom

I run a flexible diary so we can organise a supervision arrangement to suit you.

Individual and small group supervision is available to counselling, psychotherapy and holistic practitioners and students.

I am happy to discuss a Group supervision arrangement - maximum four members.

What happens at the Initial consultation session?

The Initial consultation gives us both the space and opportunity to get to know each other and see whether we can work together, collaboratively, in a Supervisor - Supervisee relationship. It is also the time for you to discuss your personal supervision requirements and ascertain whether I am the right Supervisor for you.

we consider modalities and orientation.

Establish Confidentiality; Complete GDPR and Online Platforms Agreements; explore the style of Supervision you require.

If we are both happy, we will contract to continue working together.

Please contact me with any further enquiries, I will be happy to talk things through with you.

Best wishes

Becky

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
