Supervision details
I am an Integrative trained Supervisor who is also trained in the Supervision of those working with clients both Online &Telephone or remotely. I work with a philosophy of the 'core conditions' based within the Person-Centred Approach and am able to adapt to a Counsellors needs as they arise.
I can offer a blended approach of either Online and Telephone Supervision or face to face and work privately along with also supporting in the charity sector. I can offer you a safe and supportive space and enjoy working in a collegiate, facilitative and balanced way.
Supervision is very much a two-way process and I see this as pivotal to the teamwork it takes in looking out for the best interests of the clients we work with.
Supervision is seen as good practice to ensure safe and competent working and is recognised as being an important part of any client work to ensure counsellors, trainees counsellors and team members are working comfortably whilst at the same time feeling supported.
I can offer you a safe space to explore any concerns and to recognise and flag up 'burn out'. I hold enhanced DBS along with Public and Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance and I adhere to the strict framework of 'The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society's Code of Ethics' of which I am an Accredited Professional (PNCS Prof) Registrant along with also being registered with The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists' (MBACP).
I hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working which is mapped to the BACP Competencies and this is also recognised by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
