Supervision for Counsellors and Trainees
Supervision for Counsellors and Trainees
I offer clinical supervision to both practising and trainee counsellors, providing a reflective and grounded space to explore your client work in depth. My approach is integrative and relational, informed by psychodynamic and humanistic frameworks.
I have particular experience supervising work involving domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking, LGBTQ+ clients, and complex trauma. I welcome both qualified practitioners and trainees working with these, and other, presentations.
Supervision is, for me, a shared and evolving process. I draw on the Page & Wosket model, holding supervision as a dynamic relationship where thinking, challenge, and support sit alongside one another. I aim to offer a space where you can speak openly about your work—including uncertainty, ethical dilemmas, and the impact of the work on you.
Sessions may include case discussion, ethical reflection, exploration of relational dynamics, and attention to your own internal responses. Alongside support, I will also offer gentle challenge to help develop clarity, confidence, and your own therapeutic voice.
I am an accredited member of the NCPS and work in private practice specialising in trauma and abuse.
Session fees:
90 minutes – £75
60 minutes – £55
If you’re looking for a supervision space that is thoughtful, containing, and appropriately challenging, I would be happy to hear from you.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
