Supervision details

I am an experienced clinical supervisor and psychodynamic psychotherapist with a strong background in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, neurodevelopmental assessment, trauma‑informed practice, and therapeutic work within NHS and specialist community settings. I provide supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists, mental‑health practitioners, and clinicians working with complex presentations, including autism, trauma, personality disorders  attachment difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and relational patterns rooted in early experience.

I hold a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited qualification in Clinical Supervision, ensuring my supervisory practice is grounded in robust psychological theory, ethical frameworks, and evidence‑based supervisory models. My approach integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy, developmental thinking, and reflective practice, supporting practitioners to deepen their clinical understanding, strengthen their therapeutic presence, and maintain safe, effective, and ethically‑sound practice.

Across my career, I have led reflective practice groups, supervised clinicians in therapeutic communities, and supported multidisciplinary teams working with adults. I am skilled in helping practitioners translate informal observations into formal clinical language, navigate risk and safeguarding, and develop psychologically‑informed formulations that honour both the client’s internal world and their external context.

Supervision with me offers a collaborative, containing, and growth‑focused space. I support clinicians to explore their work safely, think deeply about relational dynamics, and develop confidence in their clinical decision‑making. My aim is to help practitioners feel grounded, resourced, and empowered in their therapeutic roles.
