Supervision details
As an Integratively trained Clinical Supervisor, I bring a wealth of experience spanning various theories and techniques tailored to both short-term and long-term therapeutic approaches. This extensive knowledge base is intended to enhance your own therapeutic skills, empowering you in your client work. In addition to my foundational training, I've pursued specialised training in trauma processing, including EMDR, PET, CPT, IRRT, NET, and KIDNET, equipping me to provide comprehensive support in addressing trauma-related issues effectively. This also involves using DBT or the Stair technique to promote safety and stabilisation before processing occurs.
I hold a diploma in working with children and young people aged 5 and up. This credential is particularly relevant concerning regulatory bodies overseeing the well-being and ethical practice within therapeutic settings involving minors. Understanding developmental psychology, trauma-informed care, and age-appropriate therapeutic interventions are fundamental aspects when working with this demographic. My specialised expertise in regulatory compliance ensures a nurturing environment where your professional development flourishes alongside the safety and welfare of your clients.
With experience in addiction and complex mental health conditions, I offer a collaborative space aimed at refining and expanding your expertise in addiction therapy and complex mental health treatment. I can support you with assessment techniques, nuanced treatment planning strategies, effective crisis intervention methods and relapse prevention methods. Working with such complex cases its also essential to support you to consider your own self-care, our sessions are not only just aimed at supporting your clients but also serve to further strengthen your professional integrity and resilience.
Having undergone Acto approved training in online supervision, I'm well-equipped to guide you through the transition into online counselling, providing both synchronous and asynchronous support. Whether you're new to online counselling or an experienced practitioner, I'm here to ensure a smooth and productive transition.
As both an integrative therapist and supervisor, I provide a nurturing and reflective space for your growth. Prioritising the development of your internal supervisor, I foster your unique identity as a therapist. My supervisory approach draws from models such as the Seven-eyed model and the CLEAR model, ensuring a holistic and effective framework for our work together.
Committed to upholding the highest professional standards, I am accredited by the BACP, EMDR UK, and ACTO, reflecting my dedication to working safely and ethically, prioritising the well-being of both clients and practitioners alike.
Currently serving as a clinical supervisor at organisations such as MIND, Keech Cottage, Barnardos, and Kooth, I also provide supervision in private practice. Additionally, I am actively involved in teaching a CPCAB Supervision course, further contributing to the professional development of future counsellors and psychotherapists.
Understanding the importance of finding the right fit in a supervisory relationship, I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation. This allows us to explore our compatibility and ensure that my approach aligns with your needs and goals, laying the foundation for a productive and fulfilling supervisory experience.
Furthermore, I believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing, providing valuable handouts and resources tailored to your specific areas of focus. I foster a community-oriented approach where the experiences and insights gained by one supervisee can benefit others, enriching both individual journeys and our therapeutic community as a whole.
I am also happy to support you in your journey towards accreditation within your regulatory body, offering guidance and assistance every step of the way. For students undergoing counselling training, I offer concessionary rates and provide free paperwork completion services.
I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you and support your growth as a therapist.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
