Supervision details
Counselling Supervision. I am a fully qualified Supervisor having completed the Level 7 advanced Diploma in Supervision in 2018. I have vast experience in counselling since 2015 and being a counselling lecturer since 2018.
I am offering student counsellors a reduced rate of £50 for 1.5 hrs ( 2x 45 minute session as per student supervision minimum requirements).
For qualified counsellors a rate of £75 per 1.5 hours or £50 for 1 hour. If you have group supervision I can offer 30 minutes top up. If you are looking for a group supervisor to facilitate rates can be agreed.
I am an integrative counsellor, drawing on many modalities where appropriate - my foundation as a counsellor is Humanistic and influenced by Carl Rogers , and Petruska Clarkson, with emphasis on the relationship and the person in the room, relational depth being key to the Therapeutic process As a counsellor I also draw on Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic concepts related to Erikson's Psychosocial model. I have also added trauma informed practice drawing heavily on the work and training of Carolyn Spring. I have training in several modalities even those I don't use so often and I don't dismiss approaches in their entirety. The models I use most in supervision are the 7 eyed supervisor - aiming to have an aerial view , which allows exploration of the client, supervisee and supervisors context and looking at potential for parallel process. I also draw on Inskipp and Proctors model of supervision to nurture a collaborative and restorative approach to best support you in your practice always with Ethical principles at the heart of the interaction. This approach allows for therapist care, ethical checking and some appropriate Psychoeducational aspects. I am a accredited Professional registrant of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, I am also fully insured for private practice. For Supervisees, I can provide Zoom and telephone. Please view my full counselling directory profile to get a better sense of me and if you feel you would like to work together.
I am happy to arrange a free 30 minute supervision consultation so you can ask me any questions and get a sense if you would like to work together.
