Supervision details
I provide supervision focussing on clinical material and professional development to individual mental health professionals including including Psychologists, Counsellors, Social Workers and a range of other mental health professionals. In addition to individual supervision, I am a qualified Reflective Practice facilitator and provide space to reflect and process work and organisational issues to groups within the NHS, voluntary and corporate sector. The supervision I provide draws on psychodynamic and cognitive principles, aiming to build a stronger reflective ability and develop ones internal supervisor. I have a particular interest in supporting the development of junior staff members to practice confidently outside of training. I can provide supervision online or face-to-face. Please contact me for further information.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
